Thursday morning was bright and cold -- everything froze solid during the
night, although the trailer stayed warm thanks to the 2 heaters we ran all
night. Here is a shot out of our front door.

The girls climbed into the front bed to listen to Jody read to them, while
Doug sat in front of the heater and drank his coffee.

We planned on just hanging to take care of laundry, journals, web site
updates, etc., since the new refrigerator can't be installed until Friday (we
are in Prescott partly to pick up a replacement fridge; the original one was
D.O.A). Here we are enjoying hot sandwiches and homemade pickles (a la
Tessany and Carl) outside. It is warm enough to eat outside in the
daytime, but the lows at night are in the low twenties.

The girls badly wanted a 'snow day', so they built some snow mittens out of
socks, baggies and duct tape (use #74 for duct tape -- does anyone actually put
the stuff on ducts?). Here are the girls building a snowman.

And here is Joe, the finished product.

The next day, Friday, was a 'busy' day. We got the new fridge installed,
bought groceries, did our laundry, and took a small walking tour of the historic
section of downtown Prescott -- but no pictures. Jody's dad and his wife are
thinking to relocate here, perhaps, and we wanted to check it out. It seemed
like a very nice place.
