About 5 years ago, Jody and I determined that we would take a year off as a family, and tour the US.  At the time, we figured we would buy a motor home.  When we actually determined that we had both the means and the motivation to actually GO, we did some research, and ended up selecting an old rather rundown Airstream travel trailer, which took Doug (along with most everyone he knew who could operate a screw driver) over 1000 hours to rehabilitate.

We have packed all of our possessions into our garage, and have leased our house for a year to a wonderful young couple: Heather and Mike Krakora,  from Madison, Wisconsin.  We plan on visiting Heather's parents along the way.
