Although we spent a lot of time camped in New Jersey, we spent almost no time visiting attractions within its borders, with the exception of an afternoon visit to West Orange to see Thomas Edison's lab and home, which you can read about on our Manhattan Revisited page. The Southern part of New Jersey is relatively pleasant. The coastal areas near New York seem to largely deserve the stereotyped reputation that this state holds.
