We had been running pretty hard for 5 days or so, and were ready to just hang out, take care of little bits of business, etc. We slept in late after staying up past midnight, and got all of the backpacking equipment out for a check and inventory in preparation for our trip next week. I also fixed some odds and ends on the trailer -- finally fully bolting down the toilet in the process. The ladies napped while I examined a trail map of the Smokies in order to select our route. Jody made an incredible blackberry pie (from frozen berries -- it is way too early for berries yet). We played some pool at the table in the office. A very relaxing day, but still productive. Below, the ladies nap in Jordan bed.
