The day dawned bright and warm, and the mood was light and expectant.  We were all so happy to be in such a pleasant place.  Here is a shot of our set up here, with the "tiki hut" on the left.  Since we now had an additional guest, we were employing the "guest room" that Rob Allison built for us in the rear of our van.  Doug and Jody were sleeping there (with the read doors open for the breeze off of the lake), Joya was on the front sofa/bed, Jordan was in her usual bed, and Geka was in Joya's bed.

Jordan and Geka made a breakfast of fruit salad and bread, which we ate outdoors.

Doug and Jody got time to read the paper and sip their coffee.  Ah, this is the life.

There were kayaks available for free usage by park guests, so of course they got extensively used by the intrepid explorers.  The park security guard told us the lake was safe and pleasant to swim in, but that Hurricane George had blown in a nurse shark, which never bothered anyone.  Needless to say, swimming in the lake was not a popular activity for the young ladies, although Doug braved the treacherous shark-infested waters for a lovely swim just before lunch.

The image below was shot by Joya.  Angelika is on the left, and Jordan on the right.  Both are underwater at the pool, wearing goggles or masks.  Lots of time was spent in the pool.

We dined alfresco that evening, did a bit of reading and writing (including these words -- caught up at last!), and retired to bed to see what tomorrow might bring.
