My cousin Adrienne Marko, along with her husband Greg and their sons live
just into the "Front Range" from Denver, in a beautiful little
community called Evergreen, up in the mountains at 7 or 8 thousand feet.
They graciously invited us for dinner at their home, where we met their 2 sons,
Sam (pictured below), and Ben. By the time we got the camera out, Ben was
already asleep -- but don't despair, you can see him a few pictures later -- the
Marko family visited us the following day at our campground, where we caught Ben
in action.
Left to rights: Greg, Sam and Adrienne.
Sam became immediately enchanted by Jordan, declaring "That's my
girlfriend -- isn't she pretty?" He invited her to watch some Wallace
and Grommit with him, which she accepted.

We had a grand evening. Adrienne cooked up a wicked good pasta dish,
and the adults talked for several hours, catching up. We had not seen the
Marko family since their wedding, 4 or so years ago. They had moved
several times in the Denver area, finally designing their own home, which they
had been in only 6 months or so.
Jumping ahead a bit, the next photos are from their visit with us the
following day.
This is the adorable Ben, with whom Jordan became immediately enchanted --
and perhaps vise-versa.

Both boys really liked the Airstream -- climbing in and out, investigating
all the little spaces, and repeatedly operating the toilet. Sam chose to
eat on the step, rather than at the table with the rest of us.

It was really good to see them -- we had missed them greatly.
