We awoke to thick clouds and thunderstorms, and so decided to have a "down day". Like the last rainy day we took in Austin, this one was full of lots of eating, reading and naps. Jody finished reading aloud Modoc, and we then went right on to "The Old Man and the Sea". We listened to the hard rain and the thunder, and enjoyed being warm, cozy, and not consumed by voracious insects. Here we are enjoying lounging about, photo courtesy of Joya.
