The first thing on this morning's agenda was departure from Nickerson.
Unfortunately for me, as you can see all of the outside preparation for this was
done in a pretty good rain. This was only the second time I have had to do
this in the rain, which is really a pretty good record, so I was not complaining
-- too loudly.
Joya kindly snapped this picture of me to really capture the essence of the
moment. You can see how much fun I am having.

We did successfully get off, and headed North towards Boston. Jody had
found another nice state park just South of "Bean Town" -- Wompatuck
State Park.
We got set up fine -- and without rain -- and decided to explore the
vicinity. We drove through the beautiful New England countryside, through
little towns like Hingham, East Hingham, Hingham Center, and such. We were
looking for a Kinko's in order to retrieve all of our email and update this web
site. As we ambled around somewhat aimlessly, we stumbled on a video
store, where the helpful owners not only directed us to a Kinko's, but also
rented us a DVD -- Traffic.
On the way, we dined like kings at a Dunkin' Donuts (really), and finally
found the Kinko's at about 9 PM. It took until nearly midnight to get
everything done -- this was the last of the processes needed to move this site
to dougnjody.net. Even though it was late, when we got home we watched the
movie, finally getting to sleep around 2.
