Here we are at the world famous Hoover Dam Snacketeria, with a very good view of the Colorado River.  We learned the Snacketeria is to be wisely converted to a warehouse by the brilliant government types who run the place. The Hoover Dam was the largest engineering project of it's kind at the time it was built. Boulder City was the town created for the people working on the Dam project and the only town in Nevada where gambling is not legal.

Jody spent all of about 2 minutes on the dam itself -- she is very afraid of heights, and the 70 story dam was not exactly her cup of tea.  By the time Doug got the camera out, all he could catch was this one of Jordan:
